Because what’s St. Patrick’s day without copious amounts of Whiskey? Sure you can head to the store an buy some Bailey’s; but this version is fresher, tastier and makes a cute gift for your buds. I, however, have some other plans in mind for this recipe…You’ll have to stay tuned, Part II is coming soon!

Homemade Irish Cream Ingredients

Minimal Ingredients Needed: Instant Coffee Granules, Chocolate Syrup, Irish Whiskey, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Heavy Cream

Add chocolate syrup

Pour all ingredients into a blender and stir! I used much less whiskey than the original recipe since I found it much stronger than standard Irish cream. I prefer focusing on what’s important like chocolate and coffee and sugar! Yum!

Homemade Irish Cream

Mason jars make for a cute gift. Keep refrigerated for up to two weeks.

Homemade Irish Cream

Makes 10-12 Small Mason Jars

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 to 1 cup Irish Whiskey
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee granuales
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup

Pour all ingredients into a blender and blender for only a couple of seconds until combined. Store bottled in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Shake before serving.
